Primary Care Physicians from across Hampton Roads gathered Saturday, October 17th at the Westin Town Center in Virginia Beach for a half-day conference led by the AOS team. The medical education event, Orthopaedics for the Primary Care Physician – Sports and Total Joint, included lectures and demonstrations by Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists.
More than 50 physicians attended the event, during which they were presented valuable information on a variety of topics on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of joint and tendon injuries and conditions. Accredited by Eastern Virginia Medical School, attendees also earned 4 AMA Category 1 credits and received instruction to better serve their patients with orthopaedic needs.
