Paul Krop, M.D.
Dr. Krop grew up from New York to Washington D.C. and graduated from Georgetown University, both college and medical school, where he received honors in surgery and neurology and a U.S. Public Health Traveling Fellowship to Edinburgh, Scotland. He then completed his orthopaedic training at Tufts New England Medical Center where he received The Berg Teaching Fellowship and The Farnsworth Traveling Fellowship. He completed his Hand Surgery Fellowship at Jefferson Medical College and was elected president of its Hand Surgery Club and specializes in hand and general orthopaedics. He has served as Chief of Surgery and President of Medical Staff at Virginia Beach General Hospital. He has also been President of the Virginia Orthopaedic Society and recently completed a 6 year term on the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopaedics.
Dr. Krop enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children and his hobbies are music, sailing and woodworking.
