At Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists, we recognize that musculoskeletal problems are some of the most common conditions seen by primary care practitioners. We realize that it is difficult to stay current on the most recent advances in the field of orthopaedics. The changing face of medicine has placed limitations on the available time physicians have to interact with one another and discuss issues related to the delivery of appropriate medical care for our patients.
To address these needs, AOS partnered with EVMS and designed a series of orthopaedic CME programs tailored for primary care physicians, PA’s, NP’s, and other healthcare professionals. These programs provide a broad overview of the most common orthopaedic disorders seen in the primary care setting. A special emphasis is placed on each condition’s differential diagnosis, management & treatment. Information gained from these informative programs may be valuable to the day-to-day operation of your practice.
“Orthopaedics for the Primary Care Physician: Spine” CME program to be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Virginia Beach.
Our CME conferences include:
- question and answer sessions
- panel discussions
- case study presentations
- break time for direct interaction with program faculty
At each program’s conclusion, attendees will have an informed overview and will better know when to refer specific patients to an orthopaedic specialist.
