Physician Assistant from Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists Joins Medical Relief Team Enroute to Haiti
Paul Versage, a physician assistant at Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists, has joined with nineteen other medical professionals who recently teamed up for a relief mission bound to earthquake torn Haiti. The effort organized by Norfolk based “Operation Smile” brought together surgeons, nurses and medical techs from all around the country. Prior to embarking on their flight, the volunteer group assisted in packing over 6000 pounds of donated medical supplies. The team plans to provide urgently needed medical care for approximately two weeks, until it is relieved by another group.
