Judith Bodnar, M.D.

Dr. Judith Bodnar has many years of outpatient primary care internal medicine experience. She has dedicated the majority of her career to serving patients in the capital region of upstate New York. Throughout her professional journey, she practiced in a range of evolving healthcare settings, beginning with a solo Internal Medicine practice. Her work expanded into an Internal Medicine group, later transitioning into a multi-specialty group practice, followed by a coordinated, multi-hospital–anchored system. Most recently, she practiced within a comprehensive outpatient and multi-hospital network as part of the Trinity Health organization.
In addition to maintaining a continuous full-time clinical practice in Internal Medicine, Dr. Bodnar has held several leadership roles within her organization. She served on board positions and chaired both Quality and Population Management committees. Under her leadership, all practices achieved PCMH Level III certification and successfully enrolled in the CPC+ Medicare program.
In 2017, during a significant system-wide consolidation, Dr. Bodnar served as Interim Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO). She helped guide the transition of 13 separate electronic medical records systems into a unified EMR platform (Athena), ensuring continuity of care and operational stability throughout the process.
Dr. Bodnar looks forward to returning her primary focus to patient care in Virginia. She is licensed to practice medicine in both Virginia and New York State.
