To help you prepare for your upcoming surgery I have provided the following information. Pre-op info explains how you can prepare for your operation in the days leading up to surgery. Post-op info details what you can expect during the first few days after surgery, and what restrictions you will have. Finally, PT protocol is physical therapy instructions that you may print off and bring to your physical therapist. We will let you know when therapy should begin and typically it is at two weeks after surgery. Please look over these documents. They will help you get prepared for surgery and also give you an idea of what to expect afterwards.
My goal is to provide you with the highest level of care possible, and keep you informed at all times.
Sincerely,
Brad Carofino MD
