Virginia Sand Soccer Returns to Buckroe Beach This Weekend

Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists is proud to once again partner with the Virginia Sand Soccer Tournament, providing athletic training and first aid services for athletes competing throughout the weekend (May 30 & 31, 2026) at Buckroe Beach in Hampton.

This exciting annual event brings together 96 teams from across the region, with divisions ranging from U9 through High School, as well as Adult Division competition. The tournament offers players of all ages the opportunity to experience the unique challenge and excitement of beach soccer while enjoying a fun, family-friendly atmosphere along the Virginia coastline.

Our team of certified Athletic Trainers will be on-site throughout the tournament, helping keep athletes safe and providing first aid and athletic training services as needed. As trusted sports medicine providers and team physicians throughout Hampton Roads, Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists is committed to supporting athletes both on and off the field.

Adding to the fun, Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists will also be fielding a team of our own this year: Team Turf Toes! We look forward to competing alongside the many talented players participating in this year’s event.
