From Williamsburg to Virginia Beach, Coastal Virginia Magazine is a publication that provides insight into local news, business profiles, and community updates. Bringing awareness to local residents, Coastal Virginia Magazine weighs in to rank top medical practices and doctors in the area.
Coastal Virginia Magazine annually solicits their readers to vote on the region’s best coastal businesses in more than 120 different categories, including best medical practices, in the region. Engaging an audience of more than 245,000 readers, Coastal Virginia Magazine announced that their readers have chosen Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists (AOS) in two categories as Hampton Roads’ Overall Gold for Best Orthodpaedic Practice and Southside Silver for Best Physical Therapy Practice. This year marks the 7th consecutive year AOS won Overall Gold for Best Orthopaedic Practice in Hampton Roads.
In addition to AOS securing their position as Coastal Virginia Magazine reader’s top orthopedic practice and one of the area’s top physical therapy practices, three AOS surgeons won in five Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Top Doc categories. The list of Top Docs is a compilation of peer-to-peer selections from licensed physicians in various specialties throughout Coastal Virginia’s medical community. Dr. Lawrence E. Donato, Jr., one of AOS’s Sports Medicine orthopaedic surgeons, won Top Doc 2020 in the category of Surgery – Orthopedics while both Dr. Chad R. Manke and Dr. Bradley C. Carofino from AOS’s Hand to Shoulder Surgery Center were each selected in two categories, Orthopedics and Hand Surgery.
“I also speak for Dr. Donato and Dr. Carofino when I say we’re humbled that our peers selected the three of us for Top Docs in 2020,” says AOS President and a Top Doc 2020 Award recipient, Dr. Chad R. Manke. “This honor, in addition to the Overall Gold for Best Orthopaedic Practice award for the seventh year in a row and the Southside Silver for Best Physical Therapy, are a testament to the continued professionalism, hard work, and dedication of our incredible team. It has been an especially challenging year for everyone, particularly for all the essential workers and frontline heroes serving in our community. I sincerely appreciate our entire AOS family for their unwavering commitment to all our patients and their ability to provide a consistent quality of service even during these very difficult times. None of these accomplishments would be made possible without their combined effort.”
